ABOUT THE PROVIDER

Experience built around the whole patient.

Dr. Joyce El is a humanitarian, patient advocate, media producer, and the Founder and CEO of Journeys by Grace Global Missions, Inc. With degrees in Business Administration and Humanitarian Practices and Services, she brings three decades of experience and expertise in global affairs, community engagement, advocacy, and service.

Her work is centered on strengthening underserved families and communities through healthcare access, mental wellness, education, advocacy, and community-based support. In the United States, Joyce advocates for caregivers, youth, individuals affected by sickle cell disease and rare blood disorders, and families navigating difficult circumstances.

Her humanitarian work also extends internationally. In Kenya, Joyce is leading the development of The Hospital That Love Built, a community hospital in Busia County with a focus on sickle cell disease. The initiative reflects her commitment to creating sustainable, accessible healthcare solutions that respond directly to the needs of underserved communities.

As a storyteller, media producer, and sought-after thought leader, Joyce uses advocacy, humanitarian service, community programs, and media to educate, raise awareness, inspire action, and help strengthen the communities she serves.

Her work reflects a long-standing commitment to compassion, access, and meaningful change—connecting people, resources, and ideas in ways that support healthier families, stronger communities, and more sustainable futures.
